--If we are ever given the chance to redo characters in Don's game (like if he ever does a switch to 3rd+ed), I want to be a dwarf. Male, classic-stereotype, Scottish-ish dwarf. Paladin maybe. No idea why. Just sounds like fun (partly because I realized that for all the *unusual* races DnD has, people pretty much are playing humans, and humans, and maybe some elves. Whatever happened to the fun sorts, like Bruce's half-orc?)
--Work's been tolerable for a couple days, thanks to really cool temps over the weekend, but could tell today it's warming up again. Obviously the allegedly being finished with the HVAC work FOR REALS THIS TIME last week was once again quite alleged.
--Started a shaman (again) on Hellscream, with the intention of going elemental. Actually might stick with her--esp. since it's a white haired, cranky-looking troll named Bakkurah and that does still amuse me :p Seems raidwise we're shifting to two days Hyjal/BT learning and one day farming old stuff, so will be interesting seeing how people hold up under that. Folks claim to be so bored, but they forget how frustrating learning can be. Also, I'm getting *really* tired of a couple people deciding to keep pricks to our main raid lead and they REALLY need to get over themselves--and the female of the two REALLY needs to quit kneejerk bitching about our criticisms of her spouse, because he is an app and that's what we're supposed to do and oh yeah, it's his second chance and he's being an ass *again* so perhaps he needs to shape up a bit yes?
--Anyway.
--I wish I could have more than 142 icons. I keep having to weed. :( I know I only use like 5 of them. It's not the using, it's the *having*. ♥
--Read a fic that actually was entertaining me pretty well, was rather :D at first and then :) (had to downgrade a touch since one character was rather ooc)--until the very last chapter which sent me to D: D: D: D: D: Ancient Egypt AUs kinda drive me nuts sometime, since they almost always seem to decide 'we must end in a way that ties in with the eventual beginning of the series' which means someone's a-gonna die and another's a-gonna basically break. :( Boo. I want some post-series fixit and what the hell, some ancient times fixit AU. Would be lovely.
--I need to start my springkink stuff. >_> Crap.
--I have so many ideas. For things that are not my sk prompts. >_> Double crap.
--Not like I'm writing those other ideas anyway. Also, why do my ideas only come at work when I can't do anything, or on the drive home when I can't do anything--and dry up at any other time in which I *might* work on them?
--I need to finish reading the scanlations. >_< Hell, I need to go to the bookstore and buy the goddang manga, since the scanlations have such huge gaps in key story arcs. Do want to watch the anime after all (but ugh, how to do so most economically...), though there's not time before the sk stuff. Just wanna watch for the hell of it. Also need to finish TAS stuff, but not so much for research--just for amusement, because obviously I need the lulz. :|
--Did I mention my Thief-King Bakura wallpaper? >_> It's old, not the best, but it's really striking and makes me go hee hee hee ♥ He's so brilliantly cracked mad and doing the best flourishey melodramatic pose.
--Bought music. >_> I'm bad. Nabbed the Flobots CD off amz, as well as the Puscifer remix disc, a greatest hits for Megadeth, and 3 Assemblage23 CDs. Probably will get the other six A23 ones soon, but you didn't hear me say that >_> I don't think they're quite resonating with me like VNV Nation, but it's extremely good music, and the sort I've been craving lately (ebm/synthpop/dance stuff).
--Need to get to calling places about redoing our windows. God, I'm so not looking forward to it. Someone, take the house, please T__T I want to be a renter. Really should get on the new stove and new mattress/box springs thing--yet I can't even seem to get myself to giving a firm yes, do this on the new Mac tower despite how much I'll benefit from such an upgrade. Inertia's so bad lately.
