Of course today is the day the pop machine downstairs is broken and eats $1.50 of my money. It's got to be 85 in here--they let things get out of control over the weekend what with the warmer outside temps, and when we arrived before 8am it was already 80. They're trying to cool it down, but just can't get ahead of it. Horrid, horrid, horrid. Allegedly the contractors have been told in no uncertain terms that the HVAC work *will* be done by end of week, but we'll see. Just we're fast approaching end of semester and finals. Students will not tolerate this when at their breaking point from finals stress.

Headache since I woke up, feeling off, down about some things including game. Typical week thus far. Would love some time off, but of course am still swamped, since stuff's still coming in and I'm not making headway. Today's particularly bad; I'd say I was going at a snail's pace what with heat and such sapping my already poor concentration--but the snail done passed me by ages ago.

Music on my mind: still Songs:Ohia, adding in the Vienna Teng I've had on my iPod and not listened to for awhile. Her lighter/jazzy stuff I'm not as fond of, but her ballads just hit me like a punch to the chest.
