--Doing the university's online benefits enrollment updating drives me nucking futs. Seriously.
--It is bleak, grey, dim, damp with thick fog. Perfect late October/Halloween weather. Too bad it's almost the end of November.
--Confessional: I was bad on the iTunes store last night. Really, really bad. Maybe it's not the most I've ever spent...but it's up there. *So* much good shit though. New Avenged Sevenfold, Killers, Serj Tankian, Anathema, Black Mages (how did I miss they had a second CD?), Final Fantasy, Matchbox 20, My Chemical Romance (time to get all the oldschool stuff, yaknow?), and a Polish progressive group called Riverside. So much music win, happy happy.
--Scheduled to take two vacation days at the start of the holiday break, so I'll be off from 12/20-1/2. That's gonna rock the damned casbah.
--Speaking of Christmas...I know it's not past Thanksgiving yet, but it's *really* not feeling that time of year yet. I've had small cravings for listening to holiday music, but haven't let myself, because it feels wrong yet. Though one radio station in town converted its entire playlist to Christmas stuff...like three weeks ago? (Too bad nearly every time I do flip to it it's all the crappy blah Christmas songs. There's so much good holiday music, not sure how they're managing to not be playing it. Though yeah, suppose it's just that I'm not flipping by that station much.)
--A sort of Murphy's law of gaming: So I missed pretty much all the guild's first trip to Zul'Aman last week, right, because of dinner out with my family, when they had some success. The time I do go Sunday, it was *horrible*--turns out because they forgot a major strat detail on a certain group of trash mobs. So last night when they go again--when I'm sitting outside so they can rotate in some people who didn't go Sunday--it all works all fine and dandy. Least I could run in and get the first quest item after they were done, but still means I didn't get any of the badges (save 'em for nice gear upgrades), and others are a step or two ahead on the quest chain. Which I'll catch up, but it still annoys me, for some reason.
