Sep. 10th, 2007 08:48 amWas almost praying last night for a way to extend the weekend. Obviously all the wishing didn't work. :p Functioning on so little sleep, it's sad (3-7-4, a sort of lack of sleep haiku?) And weakened for coffee again, but at least I got it with skim milk (and the guy taking the order was tetchy with me--not my fault the drive up voice mic/speaker thing was crappy).
Saturday was a mess. Tink cat had had dental work on Friday, and was acting very oddly Saturday am, so had to go back to the vet (another pain shot, antibiotics...then ended up still not eating that day or yesterday either, so we removed the pain patch, it seemed to be screwing with her kitty head. Finally her personality and eating's returning to normal and she's not terrified all the time). Then all my errands (including finally buying bras after needing new for like over three years), ended up racing around from like 7:30 am until 1:45pm. Got home literally right in time for the Kara raid. Which lasted until after folks arrived at 6 for our usual Saturday evening, and gah.
Also, we'd been planning to do Anj's and Gina's birthdays separate this year, but both fall when I'll be gone, so we're having to celebrate them together this Saturday. Whoops. :| Also, wtf do I get them as gifts. Maybe I'll promise them stuffs from the UK.
Don's last night for the usual, including some Thai sort-of martial arts thing--set turn of the century, with water buffalo cowboys and rustlers, kickboxing, shamanistic kung fu, and rocket/missile firework things. Weirdest movie *ever*. That's not even mentioning the need for a virgin of stronger zodiac's menstrual blood for countering a shaman's power (I DO NOT LIE). Where does Don find this stuff.
And the *fun* bit from WoW-guild stuff. >_< ;;; Seems when I had to re-app to request raider status instead of plain member status--it reset our month probation. ADFSDKJSDFKK. So we won't be full members until like the 29th-30th? Which considering I'll be gone the 18th-29th, means maybe they'll extend mine *even more*...? *flails in frustration* So sick of this wait. And it's extra stupid, because my RL friend that got me into this says we already have been voted on positively, it's just they're doing things by the freaking letter. Don't know why they're making us jump through so many goddamned hoops. It's just stupid.
So tempted to ask for some time off : / Kind of frazzled, and really would like some time to hide out. Also, why do new clothes have to be so stiff and bunchy? >_< So often I wish I had a job that required at least some standing/walking. Constant sitting is driving me mad.
The weather, I must say, is awesome. So extremely cool, last night I actually pondered a flannel shirt or jacket &heart;♥♥ And yay for drizzle-rain.
