Zoo was cool. So was coffee shop and Fontenelle Forest beforehand (but omfg christ onna pogo stick I am out of shape *baaaaaaad*) At two points in time today, the zoo decided some statement I made needed punctuation.

Time one:
Me (after seeing an ad for a Mother/child zoo-walking club when entering Desert Dome): We should find a find a zoo-walking club. An adult type one, not a mother/child one...
Nearby small boy: *yells* IT SMELLS LIKE POOP!
Me: ...like I was saying.

Time two:
Anj and I: *see Provost Squirrels in exibit at Rainforest exit as entering*
Anj and I: *finally get to Provost Squirrel exhibit:
Squirrels: *are not there*
Anj and I: D: Awwww...
Anj: D: Where'd they go? They were there when we came in.
Me: D: I swear there should be two here...

They're starting to renovate the old 70's Cat Complex building, exhibit by exhibit, and the couple they've done so far are *nice*. Much more real-environment, and much less cage-with-fake-dead-tree-logs. With time, it should bring that building much more in line with the newer, 1337 areas.

Also, Anj went over my draft resume, and made some very, very useful suggestions (very helpful on converting library jargon to general terms). Will edit tomorrow. Kel's back in town, so maybe I can have her look it over as well if she's up to hanging out this weekend.
