Nov. 5th, 2006 12:58 amDay o' gamings. :|! First, fiddled with the usual WoWBC beta stuff, been working on a Draenei warrior, because I've been craving playing a warrior (see a few days ago), and it's going surprisingly well. Levelling my shaman seemed to be going so slowly, warrior is much faster (not sure if as fast or faster than my BE 'lock). Perhaps b/c I've levelled a warrior a bit before (my troll, tho she still's about 24)--or perhaps b/c warrior is really cool and/or I mesh with the class well.
Goofy bit tho--female draenei, but with a faint faint resemblance to Riku (hush :| ), so I scrambled letters and tossed in an x a la Nobody-age, and thus she's named Kirux. I'm becoming v. attached :| :| Have already saved the name on a regular server for use post-retail. Least it's unrecognizable enough I shouldn't get flack (i.e. I HATE THAT CHARACTER THEY WOULDN'T BE A GIRL SO AND SO'S BETTER U SUCK yadda). Though I'm saving other names, I may be going with twists to make them less recognizable as well--i.e. stick with Eight or Akuseru for Axel, Rokusasu for Roxas, Braig instead of Xigbar, and so on. Kadaja's a bit too recognizable still, but I'm gonna keep that one, sounds too neat.
Had Kel over in the evening. Wanted to show Gina FFXII but she didn't show. So Kel showed me a bit of what she's doing later in the game, then I worked on catching up some. Still not terribly far in (just got "Amalia"), but have one of the DnD games tomorrow, so best to wind down instead of going on. ...will say this, tho: OMG I want me some Balthier/Vaan fic >o< Or art. Or both. zomg I wants. ♥♥♥
Someone continues to wear on my nerves like hell. For some reason kept giving a running color commentary on his MC raid's progress--I know it's new and exciting for him, but ffs that was old hat to me a year ago, and even when anything's new to me, I never babble *unceasingly* about every single moment. Also, his yelling at PVP continues. Have escallated from politely requesting he cease to demanding to yelling and warning that I'll move my computer to another room--and yet it still keeps happening. Today he even was doing it when I was on the phone with Mom--pissed me off because a-I couldn't hear and b-Mom heard and I had to make explanation. *angrypanda* >(
Also also...so very *seldom* does he make positive comments about things. All he ever does...*ALL* he ever does, every single day, for how long now--when he's not yelling--is complain about things ingame. Complain about other classes, complain about professions, complain complain complain about everything that somehow causes him difficulty in PVP. *Dude*. DEAL WITH IT. OR STOP PLAYING. Funny thing about PVP, other people are given ways to you know...*be competitive*. Don't like it--either quit, or learn to play around it or better than it. Trust me, can be done, I see it all the time in guildmates and such. But no, really, as is evidenced by his personality since I've known him, is complain and whine rather than adapt or improve.
Anyhoo. In talking with Mom this am, turns out she loves the idea of getting me the KH2 PlayArts figures for Christmas :O! Just have to find her an eBay auction with a decent buy it now for one of the full sets (Axel, Roxas, Sora normal outfit, and Kairi), and she'll get it and save it. :D♥! I'm so filled with glee~ Mom is the most awesome Mom like ever ^____^ And I think she's extra happy to have something to actually buy me for once, rather than just sending moneys. So win all around.
