Sep. 10th, 2006 11:05 amI assembled me an office chair! :D
Got a new chair at NFM yesterday (had to take Anj there to pick up her bed frame rails stuff). I knew I wanted high-backed executive style in leather (very very cleaning friendly in a tons-of-cat-hair household), and found I seem to always gravitate to burgundy colored ones. Or was a coincidence at least. To say it came some assembly required is putting it mildly. ^^; But is done :D (yay) and now my hands are already bitching at me for all the allen wrenching. Knuckles and joints are so gonna make me pay... ^^;; It's nice tho. ^o^ Comfyyyyyyyyyyy. One of those where you sit and even if you try others your butt is like "Dude, that one over there. I said that one over there. Are you listening to me I wannit D<" Butts are demanding that way.
Also also--while there, I noticed some of those Tempurpedic mattresses, and happened to test-touch the 'Celebrity' model and OMFGLOVE♥♥♥ Holy cats, no wonder people adore those mattresses--and only the phenfuckinnomenal price tag kept me from instantly ordering (and I cry because I want those mattresses so much but I can't at *all* justify the exorbitant price). But they are *subliiiiiiiime* (lol). It's like...press hands on mattress (the Celebrity type had this sort of velvety surface too) and then there's this sensation of...how to describe it *squooooooshbliiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssss* Truly. I think we spent several minutes doing the press/*squooshbliss*/"ohmygaaaah" thing. ^^;
Game--haven't been able to get into AV matches. Wait times tick me off so I give up and quest and instance with guildfolks (Tho two runs and I get nothing? Irritant! D:< Hallo, my alt needs stuff too, yo.) Not sure if I'll get into bgs today either, since I'm hoping for the mage water quest (ohyeah, got the nice conjured food recipe, the cinnamon rolls ^.^). Other than the water, just wanna get Nin the pig-polymorph spell drop, out of Scholo I think.
Hm, height of this chair is different enough that it shifts the angle of my arms when keyboarding. Definitely need a wristrest now.
Ohyeah, and showed Anj and Gina Napoleon Dynamite last night, and it won them over. :D Then showed them some of the BC video stuff, like the dances and character creation screen stuff. Really really makes me wish they both had cable modems and more funds so they could play too--them I'd love to have on my server (unlike where I'm glad he's not). Be a blast if I could be able to game with 'em.
