Hokay. Game--pics of the mount, and a couple I thought were neat. Need to go through screencaps from Aug-current to upload, eventually. >_< Will take forever. Raid week was pretty typical, but ended up in the BWL run after the folks had left last night, and after succeedingly better attempts, the group brought down Chromaggus. The version with the time lapse stun, too. And we even peeked in to see Victor Nefarius (http://www.drunkfriends.org/xfiles/mywow/Nef_next.jpg) and had a very-not-serious attempt at him. Nefarian, we're up to Nefarian. ._.! Hell yeah. XD

Also had the gate opening of Ahn Quraj event finally, I think we were the sixth or seventh server to do so. I took the day off from work Friday (good for many reasons), so I could pull an all-nighter and stay up with the guild folks. Was really fun to hang out and goof off with 'em. And as we'd heard, the horde guy who'd completed the scepter quests (incredibly difficult quest line) rang the gong somewhere about 4:30am, which started 10 hours of event. Basically, the badass Silithids spawned, huge colossal bugs at the hive, the general and officers of the army, tons of bugs, Anubis-looking things, and so on. Was good rep for one faction, so we killed mobs for rather many hours, at which point most were pretty tired and a bit bored, so there was a mass nap break. Came back for the ending of the event, which was some backstory lore and a despawning of the mobs.

The gates also opened access to AQ40 and AQ20, and we beat our heads on 40 for a long time (figured out some trash mobs, died like dogs to the Prophet, havent' figured him out yet). They started AQ20 close to midnight, and I checked the start out, but then bowed out to get sleep. And the holiday festivities continue--the Lunar Festival stuff is still going, and they've added a bunch of stuff for Valentine's Day. Actually, the Valentine's Day stuff leads to a lot of good stat buffs, like hit points, stamina, agility, intelligence. Though it also leads to bad looking pant suits and slutty dresses as quest rewards ^^; Lots of other little goofy items given out that do weird things or like the chocolates offer more stat buffs.

Anyway, normal life stuff--got together with Anj, Gina, and Kelly last night to watch some more Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and it was massively cool. I so dig that series. Workwise...the one benefit that kept me at that job has been taken away. Was told this past week that work computers are no longer to be used for anything personal, work only--not even before/after work, during breaks or lunches. At all. Was and am still so pissed. I don't like the idea of using the student machines, because those are for the students and public, not for staff to be hanging out on, IMO. I fucking hate the way my work is run anymore--there's massive lack of respect to the employees, especially to my department, there's this reorg, the outsourcing, taking away freedoms, other departments being able to change our workspace without consulting us at all...the list goes on, and I absolutely detest everything about it now. I'm definitely going to switch jobs, I just have no idea what to yet. Kelly's encouraging me to use the career center, Dad's given me some ideas of local websites and local business/governmental organization sites to check out. Just...ugh. And need to rework my resume. And of course now can't do any of that at work, even on my own time. Fuckers. I'm still so very pissed.

Anyway, one of my fun things this past week was totally redoing my user pics. Have a fuckton now, about 3/4 of which are brand new. Yay. So many that are so pretty. And so hard to choose from. >_

Figures I've got an "ohyeahand" addendum already--forgot to note that Thursday evening, saw actual snowflakes in the air. Was the first time we'd had that I think since early December, so about two months. And then Friday when I was indoors all day, we actually had enough snow to accumulate on the ground, like an inch/inch and a half, just about to cover the grass. Starting to melt a bit, but interesting that we're finally having a touch of winter, after all this time. :/
