Saw Narnia last night, and thought it was very, very cool :o (No pun, rly). Loved the setting and special effects, liked the cast (though didn't realize 'til Anj told me that Tilda Swanson was the actress from Orlando way back when), looooved the music--yay Gregson-Williams<3 Had planned on seeing Brokeback Mountain with Anj this week, but lo and behold it is not showing in Omaha or anywhere nearby. ><;; GD midwest.
Christmas was decent--had the usual folks over for Christmas Eve stuff (says something that we ended up watching Office Space), then spent Christmas Day in Seward at my aunt's place. Oddly this year have gotten a lot of specialty food items from multiple sources, all of which we're saving for this Saturday, when Gina, Anj, and Kel come over for New Year's Eve. Will be quite a lot of snackables, and we plan on marathoning the LotR trilogy (ooo<3). Should be neat. Then Sunday is Leslie's game, and allegedly the other Don's New Year's gathering.
Been enjoying the time off work, but even though I took a couple extra days, it's been mostly running around and getting stuff done. : / I swear it's more of that stuff than previous years, where I got a lot more hang out alone or go out to the zoo, etc. time. Not sure why that is.
Anyway, off for errandy things: post ofc, bank, Best Buy, allergy shot, groceries...argh, dentist tomorrow afternoon. ><;;
Oh, also--trailers for Ice Age II and PotC II = :O!!happy. Can't wait for those.
