Sitting, watching, waiting

Yay DMWest. Actually, that side is one of the harder ones. Much dying occurred (yay repair costs >_< After all was said and done, I pretty much broke even). But was cool, because was a good pickup group (wow, those exist). But Kalendris didn't drop the shoulders I needed, the rat bastard. At least it pointed out how close in he is to the entrance so that = farmable ftw.

Other than that..not much. Allergy shot tonight, woo (must pick up stuff from vet first), then dinner with Dad and Dave.

Title = reminder of must be patient. Doesn't help that my guildmate that was former officer and is now guildhead keeps subtly leaning on me not to leave. The others I swear didn't get this sort of pressure. But from the beginning I was really honest about what I wanted--and he kept questioning and questioning it. Then practically gave me an exit interview when I mailed him that I'd applied to LE. And then he was 'checking up' last night on when I'd be switching, and did I know he was making a bid for chair of the guild alliance council, yadda yadda. Seriously, I like the guy, I respect him as a player, I respect he believes in the UGA so much...but I wish I could just do what I felt I needed without all this...whatever it is. Anyway.

Mmm...another morning of vanilla coffee/cocoa mix from the machine. And someone did banana bread (had the one with chocolate chips). w00t.

Good to see that Children's Hospital and the UNMedical Center here in Omaha are now both participating. Two of the biggest hospitals in the state--and the Med Center being a major facility even on the national level--so if they hadn't been part of it yet, I'd been pondering contacting them.


And yeah, was realizing today that it's now the time of year I let myself dig out the TransSiberian Orchestra and Manheim Steamroller. Good stuff.

...but haven't started any sort of cards or gift-shopping yet. Though really it's not going to be much, which still bothers me, and I hope doesn't offend/hurt feelings. :/ Just wish I could do something craftish.

(Yay, first time I use this icon <3 Too bad I don't have a Roy one like it, or one of them together. And too bad we haven't had a whit of snow yet, and not more than a couple doses of frost. Temps have been still very early/mid-Octoberish.)
