Thunderstorms this morning<3 Hopefully more later in the day. But had some gorgeous lightning to watch on the drive in--which was good, as traffic was teh slow.

Ours will soon be a multiplatform house. Being that he wants to play Everquest 2, James is adding a PC to his collection of computers. The practical upshot of this is, and he's being rather nice on this I must admit, he's offered to let me use it when he's off doing other stuff. Hence, if there's a game I want to play... >.> *pounces on RO* If I have to subscribe to a game to play, man this will so be it. Will! I'd like to do City of Heroes, but I can't see I'm gonna play multiple games that often, and I don't want to be paying money each month for something I won't get to use much. (As is I don't think I'd get to play even RO that frequently, but it's the cheapest per month, the base software is free, and I've been wanting it...<3) I might also tinker with winmx, and whatever other filesharing programs others out there are having success with, since I've never had the opportunity before.

Am tinkering with gmail-ness--will still keep shinizero and kurama and such, but this is good if I need to dump those because of spam or something. I'm at prismaticfire at gmail dot com thingy there.

Seems we're not hiring another new student right away. Even though we wanted to have both Suraj and one new person, my supervisor wants to see how just Anjar works out as he gets trained, with the assumption that we can hire someone for a few more hours later if needed. I guess that works. Be a pain no matter which way we do it, so... >_>;; (*still flailing about Suraj not returning*) But training...new guy should train super easily, but I still detest doing it. Hate. Wish my supervisor would just do it, but no, she dumps all the pain in the ass stuff of supervising students on me (advertising, interviewing, training, evaluating), and does the easy day-to-day stuff. Bah. I've seriously thought about calling in sick the day Anjar officially starts, so she has to train--but I don't know if I could actually go through with that. I really, really feel guilty about calling out when I don't need to. Sad, it used to be so easy to skip classes, but work... *sighs*

Saturday is traffic class day. -____- Ergh. (8-5, one half my week end, rargh DX )

Wanted to beat my head onna wall while laughing--our department's staff meeting here just a bit ago. Only Kelly, Anj, Ella Jane and myself though, as my supervisor's out on a dr's appointment. So they find out that we're only ending up with one new student, instead of two including one to replace Suraj. And they tell *me* all of the very same reasons I told *my supervisor* of why we do and might need to hire a second student. All very valid reasons because I'd said the exact same things to my supervisor yesterday, and had her still go "...geeeeee...you know...I still think we should wait". Finally had to stop them and say hey, you don't have to tell *me* all this. Though they said they weren't trying to convince me, just build a case for convincing Susan. But still.

HA HA HA HA, you dimwitted idiot woman! I *TOLD* you so, and you said no. But everyone else agrees with me. HAR. I may be a slacker-goof off, but I've got a clue, despite that I've worked here a hell of a lot less time than you have, and aren't a 'true' supervisor like you are. Bint. Har.
