Babble-Manga-Babble-Something
Jul. 27th, 2004 05:24 pmHome again today. Want to go into work tomorrow, I really need to--our student worker needs his evaluation done (esp. so he can get the raise he deserves), and there's stuff sitting and waiting, I'm sure. Not to mention our dept. is already a person down with my supervisor out on recovery (she comes back first week of August, I think?) Plus Kelly is always buried in serials/bindery, I need to be there for that. Her student worker's gone, so she's especially short-handed. Uwah. Bad timing to have been gone. D:
Meds are starting to work, I think, but I still want to stick a fork in my ear. Rar. Uncomfortableness... Tired-ed, and no energy...been trying to make myself stay awake, otherwise sleep at night gets too easily interrupted, and going back to work extra difficult. But think I am crashing and burning. Eee.
Finally read v.1-3 of Eerie Queerie manga--holy handgrenades, that is too adorable-cute (and did it say the next volume is the last one? D: D: In a way, I'm glad I don't have to buy a long-long series, but am enjoying it so much, bummer that it ends that quick). And lovelove the trippiness that is the latest Hellsing manga. Man, the blood and the violence, and the gorgeousness (yes, they're shounen, but they're gorgeous) of Integra, Alucard, and Seres--and even of minor characters I don't know the names of yet (who be this braided guy? I must figure out...). I liked the anime, but there's a lot of ways I'm enjoying the manga more. The side manga in it, Cross Fire, also kick-ass cool. I really dig so many of the characters in this mangaka's works, male or female. *amused*
Mmm, hungry. Antibiotic kills my appetite, but I can tell I need food anyway. Tho I could use less food in my life *still fretting/obsessing on weight after dr's yesterday* Wah, and tired...
