Yay, zooness. : ) I won't try showing pics of that yet, as it's all mostly animals anyway and Ma took somewhere around 130, and I don't feel like sorting through it all. ._. (She is scary with a memory stick/card, yes. ^^; ) But it's a gorgeous zoo...absolutely lush and green and overgrownish. That's the thing--Omaha's zoo is larger, but everything still looks like *exhibits*, even when they try to make it look natural. But Seattle's zoo, looks so much like habitats, looks so much more real. They do such a decent job of having more than rock or cement, and having much more wood and plant in the animal areas. I mean, Omaha's Henry Doorly is extremely good...they just don't quite have it, especially in the older areas. The Woodland Park zoo, though...<3 so awesome.
Ended up with a touch of a sunburn. ^^ And got to eat at the Rainforest Cafe <3 I know, so tacky, but I loveth it so. Saw the Mariners lose on tv again, fell asleep reading more of Reaper Man. Gads, I could fall asleep again. >_> But must get myself going--am wandering over to the Japanese Gardens by the arboreum this am, then hitting Uwijimaya, the Japanese grocery store in the International District. And I wanna make my mulligatawney soup tonight, with the produce I got at Pike's Market. But yes, I'm babbling. I keep doing that. ._. I keep telling myself 'but who really cares?' and then I do it anyway. -_- Ahwell.
