Nelson-Atkins museum = <3<3<3 Especially the Asian art. Not nearly enough Japanese stuff, though. But <3 it all anyway. Did entire museum--turns out it and the special exhibits were all free today, and they stayed open extra late. Bonus. Want to spend the rest of my life in the Chinese monastary room just staring at the ceiling. Did Rainforest Cafe, was decent--service was much better this time. Lot more traffic in KC this time...had a late start anyway, plus that, plus getting lost/turned around a couple of times, ended up driving back much later than expected. Anj (who drove) and I both had much problems in the staying awake dept. Don't like having to road trip in the dark.

Have fed cats v.late, and Bebop's only getting two today instead of his usual three. I suck as a 'parent'. Plus, not going to vet's to get them to help me with the IV injection, just is too late--will do that tomorrow am. I really suck as a parent. Need to do that tomorrow, and the laundry/bills I kinda put off today. I really shouldn't have goofed off so much...should have made sure to get home earlier, ngah.

Strange, strange thoughts at times today. Reminds me of the line from Cursive's "The Recluse"...something to the effect of 'I'm not that desperate...oh no...oh god...I am.' Need to knock some sense into myself.
