It's like I'm jumping on the bandwagon again. James took Bebop-cat to the vet tonight, since I was working on homework. Thank you, Moe, for nudging me to get us to do so--if we hadn't decided to, it would have been even worse. And I couldn't have forgiven myself for that. But the situation is that Bebop is in severe renal failure. Not sure why. We've scoured the house, and we can't find any toxic/poison substances that he could have ingested to cause it. There is a possibility it is congenital. He's being kept at the vet's, and is on a sort of fluid therapy to basically flush him of potential toxins for a couple of days--we'll know by some time on Sunday if there's any hope of helping him. And yeah...extremely expensive. But another thing I couldn't forgive myself for is not having done what we can.

Hm...don't really feel like sleeping. Probably should, though. Stuff I gotta be coherent enough to do tomorrow and whatnot.

Seems Yahoo mail is being fscked up. Finally got Arty's RP reply from the other day--two days late. Noticed some LJ comments showing up about 12-16 hours off. So if I don't respond to something you've sent/said, poke me and see if I've gotten it. No idea how long Yahoo's gonna be wigging like this.

Arty, if you read this--which RP reply should I use? I may just email them both to you, and let you choose, or let you fuse 'em together if you want.

Random thought: Have this daydream, that comes in constantly changing versions. Today's is backed by the song "I am the Highway" by Audioslave, and I just keep driving and driving, just me leaving everything behind, nothing with me but myself. I leave town on a one-way road trip, and I just keep going, where to I don't know. Or maybe I go to a lot of different places, and just keep going like that, who knows how long.
