Too serious for my own good too often

So... Got about 18 inches of hair off at my appointment this am, and mailed it. Still is 'long', about to where I estimated it would be (just below my shoulder blades)--but to me, feels freakishly short. Wonky-weird. I know there's a lot of folks who have done more--I think i could have taken another 10 inches off or so...but...I think that woulda been psychologically traumatic for me. I gotta leave myself some hair to still have that one thing I feel good about myself there. Guess I'm weak that way... *scratches head*

Haven't gotten to PoT yet--had errands after the appt., then tinkered with an RP reply for a...while. *coughs* -_-; I need to make myself quit spending so much time being perfectionistic. Meh.

*twitches* Hair feels wrong. Will have some before-during-after pics, since Mom wanted to see. Also saw dr. this am--who said everything actually looks fine ear-wise. Eardrum is actually fine. No idea why the stupid thing bled during the infection, or why my hearing's still so off on that side. She says to give it a couple-few weeks, and will send me for hearing tests if it hasn't changed. Eh.
