Was gifted by goddesses, absolute goddesses, with a PoT game (the one where you're little chibi spritey things just playing tennis) and the Aim for Victory walkthrough-text game. I am getting screencaptures. THE CUTENESS IS GNAWING ON ME!!!11! >D Of course, I understand nothing in the text-ey style game, as it's all in Japanese, but if I screw up, oh well. ^^ Actually, think I screwed up already. For some reason I was getting bawled out by Tezuka and Ryuzaki-sensei ^^; I could tell I was getting scolded because they looked grumpy, and because the only thing my character was saying was '.....' and 'sumimasen!'. Heh.

Actually the biggest problem is my computer isn't quite good enough for the software--yeah, I have OSX, but it really needs a G4 processor and I only have G3. So the games lag just a little, and I have to turn the sound off, it's so garbled. ^^;; Ohwell, at least I get to play them! Eeeeee! >D

Aaa, must go do things. Today will be busy. Today and tomorrow both. Eh. (Why do we have a movie night at Don's tomorrow, when I have ROMs to play? *flails*)

One last babble... (for today)

Got a metric fsck-ton of stuff done today. House stuff, errands stuff. Criminy. Packages mailed, deposits done, Walgreens trip, Borders trip (Japanese dictionaries!), Dick Blick trip (finally another Itoya portfolio, and a big portfolio for my oversized cel--holychristexpensive! though >_<; ), Petco trip, CompUSA trip (where they are fscking useless! Argh >< ), cleanup stuff... Man.

Though...have discovered two things: the dryer is definitely broken. Thought the heating part just wasn't working, but repeated uses of the air fluff cycle ain't doing it either. I think whatever blows the air through is dead. Yee. Called a guy to come Monday eve. to look at it. Gotta go to the laundromat now to finish drying that load. Ohyay. Oh, and second thing: housing insurance people decided to raise our rate $300 this year *coughsbullshzt!coughs*. I do not buy into a nearly %40 increase. Have told James he will deal with this, and make them explain this and lower the amount. Could be related to the overly high property evaluation we had this year, which we've already successfully protested down to a more appropriate level. Figures the ins. company wouldn't adjust downward as well without us protesting, if this is what's going on.

Mom sent me birthday trinkets, too (yeah, my parents are both way early this year). And she finally dumped bd cards on me--I think I counted six. Heh. So now I have my funds for AI stashed away. Happyhappyhappy. Will have to tell dad that he got me dictionaries and that iPod car adapter (the iTrip, tho Omaha is lame so I had to order it online).

Gonna hang out with Anj and Gina tonight--think we'll watch the Ah!My Goddess movie. Have owned that awhile, just never watched it. Have heard it's really nice.
