>D God, I love 8bit Theater.
Oh, and go, go to http://www.wigu.com . Go! I think what Paisley says just sums it all up quite nicely, yes indeedy I do. >D
Anyway, got up ungodly early (5:30 am after staying up until 1 early), but going to Fontenelle Forest ( http://www.fontenelleforest.org ) first thing this morning was most worth it. Went on a free pass from my coworker Jim, left with a year's membership of our own. :) It's especially cool as the pass gets us into Fontenelle Forest itself (seventeen miles of trails, including lookout points on the Missouri River), and Neale Woods (which has restored prairie, sweet!). Between that stuff and the zoo, we have a ton of good walking/exercise opportunities. And man if anyone ever visits, I am *so* taking people to both places. I can't describe how cool the stuff today was, tho--but do we ever need Deep Woods Off. The regular stuff just ain't enough.
Oh, and just since I haven't said it in a while, Kea is a goddess. A goddess! I worship she who provides me with the most kickass InuKai, Kaidoh, and Inui fanart imaginable. I worship her! And the website she showed me! All hail Platinum Drive! I think I've lost count at how many times I've looked at the images from there. And lets just say there's this one pic...to me "Black Sheets" will become in my mind something akin to the phrase "Red Couch": just say the phrase, and I will know *EXACTLY* what image you're talking about. And goddanged if it isn't influenced by CLAMP Subaru/Seishirou artwork. It just has to be. Tho I had a bit of a scare--I'd realized today I'd been saving a ton of images since last Thursday wrong, and all I had was the webpage backgrounds, not the pictures themselves. So I had to spend a bit of time today backtracking through my history to all those old websites, and yoinking the pictures down. ^^;; I was a bit irked at myself, to say the least. Wasted a lot of time doing it wrong, yes I did. Indeedy.
Anyway, must go stare at a certain folder of art on a certain pair for a while, let it eat my brain, then go rest. Need rest, I think. Need to watch the Clerks cartoon, because that is where my mood is at today.
Oh, and another good new webcomic to check out is Slackers at http://www.slackerscomic.com/ . Done by a guy from Singapore (found the link to it on the webcomic Bobbin, by a gal also from there)--it's wacked enough to amuse me quite a bit. ^^
Anyhoo... Let's leave off with another quote, from Bert of Sluggy Freelance: "May the crotch be with you, always...!" Take that however you will. XD
