Dangit, I wanna play 'The Sims'

Dinner last evening went ok--turns out both Gabbie and Andrea (James' younger sister) are very into The Sims, so Andrea spent the whole evening talking about the game and showing it to us. Which is cool, since this kept her from being annoying/judgemental or in any way intimating how the rest of us are going to hell (seriously, she's done this). I actually didn't mind being in her presence for once. But to be honest (and this really shows the sort of person I am), I'm glad she's moving, and I'm rather happy all of James' family is now multiple states away. They are like 180degrees from my family--and while mine is far from perfect, we *like* each other, care about each other, have fun together, and treat each other well.

But in any case, just a tiny dose and I *Want* more Sims. Waaaant. But I can't have. Can't spend the money, and I've already bought videogames recently. Can't get anything new like that for a while, not until I've finished or at least made major progress on what I've got. But man...such temptation... (And yes, I already wondered if I could make the guys fall for the guys and the women for the women. >D ).

Gads, I keep hacking and having my voice be croaky or cut out entirely. I am actually feeling some better, though. Just really tiring out easily. :p Like right now, it's kinda like I'm hitting a wall, but I'm making myself stay a full day. I mean, come on, I've got a desk job, it shouldn't be that hard. ^^;

Sims and FinalFantasy on the brain, all day all day long...so sad, so pathetic. ^^;; *flails* *flails extra for Aaron's sake ^^ *

Ohyeah, almost forgot...

...IMO, the fics on Clampesque recently have been biting big wind for the most part, with a few exceptions (Alter Egos, Antidisestablishmentarianism, Wankage, etc.). But for the most part, is all just so bad. Especially the YnM stuff...omfg, such of teh suckage. >ppp I think I need to grab Nix so we can give them all a big visit from the "Muraki's are bad, m'kay?" society. Bah.

And I really just want to club whatshername Kouri like a baby seal. Ok, fine, with a Nerf-Whackabat. But still. *cements her position in Dante's 7th level of hell a little bit more*
