Had one of those rare really cool days yesterday. Actually it was a continuation from Saturday--Sat. evening Anj, Gina and I hung out some, watched a little Hyper Police (quite psycho). We also hit a very good Indian grocery near my house, and I really stocked up on seasoning mixes, frozen dinners, and microwavable side dishes. There is *nothing* cooler than getting to experiment with ethnic food, yet being able to do so in a quick, easy, lazy way. :D
Then it turned out our DnD game Sunday was cancelled as Leslie was ill, and the Fruba viewing in the evening was postponed due to weather. So I had the whole day for *me*...talk about found time. Was able to ease into the morning, have another Brueggers bagel (teh love! ^^), then spent a couple hours at Barnes and Noble as James had to stop in at work. Took the chance to pick up the latest Sherman's Lagoon, Dilbert, and Get Fuzzy compilations--oh man, *anyone* with cats should read Get Fuzzy. >D I even did something productive--after getting home, I finally unpacked our old console game systems. So the PS1, SNES and Sega (Sega! *flails*) are finally all out. I think the SNES had been packed for 2 years, the Sega for 4. Yikes.
Egads, I even had time for a nap--an unintentional nap, but still. ^^; Read through the books I'd bought, then did some of that Indian food for dinner, watched the snow/sleet/freezing rain come down outside, tormented the cats, then played on the computer some (got to hang out with folks on AIM! Booya! :D ) I need more days like that. Truly, I do. And I'm very happy to realize that everything is falling into place for both Akon and AX--trust me, I will be a happyhappyhypermanic little bugger come end of May and beginning of July. ^__^
Of course, now I've got work again. ^^;; Reeeeeeeally didn't want to be here. But at least I'm being productive. But we all were hoping for a snow day. But with it hovering around freezing, while it accumulated really nice on the grass, trees, cars, etc., the streets are just damp and a little slushy. Dang.
Anyhoo, got that last stained glass class tomorrow, going to talk to Michael Wednesday, dinner with Dad on Thursday...man, I'm always having to struggle to find 'hang out online' time. :p And I can't help but want to crash early tonight--I don't do well with time changes, especially the 'spring forward' type. Didn't help I slept for crap last night. I mean, I was dead tired, drowsy, I *wanted* to crash...but for all my laying there, I for the life of me couldn't fall asleep until after 2. Aargh.
...jeezus. Five paragraphs about absolutely nothing, really. Can I babble mindlessly or what? *flails, smacks herself*
