May. 27th, 2002 05:21 pmI did it! I finished all 26 eps of Tenshi ni Narumon--and it ROCK-ED!!! XD I loved it loved it loved it, waaaaaaaaai! Though I very much wanted to have a one-on-one with Mikael and give him a bit of the ol' Nerf Bat Therapy. I think I understand his motivations some, but his tunnel vision about what he was doing was scary and obsessive. :p I must discuss it to death with Kea-Tenshi. *nods*
And I must admit, I felt that even after all was said and done, the dude (Mikael, I mean) very much needed to loosen up, lighten up, and perhaps pratice saying three little words (in English, that is...two little words if in Japanese) to Raphael, stud muffin that he is. ^^ But *that* can always happen in a fic--I just gotta figure out exactly *how*...
Eh, I was beginning to think I'd never be able to finish the series before I go back to work tomorrow (after which stuff gets all busy with Nix and Brandon coming into town, then us all heading out on our Journey To The South for Akon on Wednesday...). I mean, it just *figures* that after getting the CDs from Kea Saturday, that James would decide he wanted to see Episode II (my opinion on that follows most other folks: better than PM, but still having some weakness in dialoge and in the romantic stuff--the action and special effects r0xx0red, tho. ^^ )
And then, of course, I ended up busy most of yesterday--after the DND game, I wandered over to Kelly's, and she did my hair scarf for my Watari costume while we rewatched Yami no Matsuei for the billionth time *hee*. The scarf looks nifty! ^^ And she let me use her screencap software she's got on her computer--lets just say that I brought over *all* the Rayearth DVDs and the Tokyo Babylon DVD...and all that I got through was *one* TB episode. ^^;; I seem to have the capability of spending hours on making oh...about 300-350 screencaps from a single episode? ^^;;; *flails* Jinkies, I'm obsessive!
But I got some *good* shots of Subaru, Seishirouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*gurgles*, etc. Especially from the end of that first ep, where I was reminded exactly *why* I developed a Seishirou fetish in the first place. God he is *FINE*. :D And I love the way they animate him in kickass mode, and the way they do the effects of his magic. Absofreaking drooly. One of these days, I have to make time for screencapping the second TB ep, not to mention Rayearth like I was intending...and lord knows, I could work on the other DVDs I've got--Bebop, Trigun, Lain, GW... Ooh, and we have to get the files I already created last night converted from bmp to jpeg, and then transferred from Kelly's hard drive to my computer. I shall have to share with folks when I've got them. *beams happily*
Gods, my brain hurts...I can't remember if I watched 7-26 of TnN today, or 10-26. Eh, it doesn't matter. I do love doing anime marathons. :D :D
Hm, I should go eat something real today--Japanese wafer cookies don't have much substance to 'em. ^^;
