First of all, I have to say that I know some truly *good*, special people. Sometimes I need a good boot to the head to be reminded of that.

Been more even today...calm would be a good term for it. Am trying to stay that way, stay centered. Doing ok, I think. I basically decided this am that I would be in a decent mood--can't say that I'm happy/cheerful, but at least I've achieved ok. :) After just seeing about Nix's dad, I know I can't/shouldn't wallow anyway. The stupid, pissy stuff that gets me down just isn't *that* serious, not like that, and so I need to learn how to shrug it off and just deal.

Made myself listen to different music, too. End of Days soundtrack is nice and GenX-ey, and I spent the morning listening to the Roger Daltrey version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" over and over (love the Lost Boys soundtrack)...that song very much needs a songfic. Maybe a YnM one? Tsu-focused with nice Hisoka&Tsuzuki bits? Damn...a plot bunny... *wince*

Found this cool internet test...the answers were text tho, so no cool pics or html stuff to paste here. But one was what Gravitation character would be compatible for a date--got Ryuichi for that. ^^ I dig it. And then the everpresent "What Gravi character are you?" one...and I got Hiiro! WAI!! Can't help but be happy about that...he is my lj pic, after all. I would most certainly want to be a long-haired electric-guitar-playing bishounen, yes I would. *grin*

What else, what else...oh, Anj and I have an idea. ^^ I've been cataloging juvenile books, and commented to Anj that I'd like to do one someday, as oil pastel art kinda works for that sort of book. But I didn't have any ideas. Then she off-handedly made a comment, that became *very* much an idea. We'll see what we can come up with, but we just have to try. I need to check out some Pablo Picasso art books, is all I'll say at this point. Heh. Hmmm...can't call the idea a plot bunny (that's for fanfic ideas)...so I guess I'll call it an inspiration squirrel that's nibbling on us.

Work...I should work. Yeah. >_< No supervisor today again, but still...

A BLUE Dragon Lies Beneath!

I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Blue Dragon on the inside. If there
ever was a draconic example of a supple attitude, my Inner Dragon is it. Blues are the Water Elemental dragon - typified by their Steam breath weapon.
Pretty creative, huh? It goes right along with my Inner Dragon's tendency to maim, but not destroy. Much like my native oceans and rivers will deform the
rock over time, eventually wearing it away to nothing.

Humans shouldn't make the mistake of thinking I'm weak, however. After all I'm a good 30
feet in length and have a penchant for materializing out of any body of water, no matter how small. I also enjoy communicating with aquatic lifeforms,
hunting in totally inhospitable terrain (i.e. 3000 feet below the waves), and using my fluid nature to my advantage. My enemies probably won't even see me
approach in the first place. My favorable attributes are the sunset, Autumn, water, compassion, intuition, and calmness. Naturally, I pity the fool who'd try
and prove that calmness part, he'd probly wind up being scalded. *small grin*
