whitereflectionIn other news, still 'blargh' today, but that's to be expected. Am at work because I still had to cover the Docs desk so Betty could get her am break and lunch and because I had a bunch of Kelly's Serials work that was a 'must do' (I'll be glad when she comes back Tuesday, I must admit).
Think I'm going to go home early, though, soon as Betty gets back and I get that last bindery stuff done. I think I've earned brownie points from my supervisor though--she said I was being 'contientious' today. Dunno if I spelled that right, but is a cool thing considering my annual evaluation's in about a month.
Got James to grab me some Indian food from The Jaipur as takeout last night. I needed mulligatawney soup, and was nice to have the matag paneer and naan too. *nods* Mild spices are quite good for the throat, ne?
And just because I thought of it right this moment, I might as well mention that James has gotten into Sony's beta-testing for the Mac version of Everquest. Should be interesting. I thought of signing up, but it requires a 700mhz machine minimum, and mine is only 500. Bummer.
On a videogame note, the guides I ordered from Amazon should get here soon (FFTactics for him, FFO/FFC for me, FFC for Anj, Legend of Dragoon for him and me), as well as the copies of FFChronicles I got from this place online (J&R something or other, and they are cheap and selling new copies :D ). Now I just gotta get ahold of FFAnthology Collector's Pack and a guide, and I'll be fricking set.
And yes, I do feel very guilty about not having finished that one blasted stained glass piece yet. I *must* make myself do that this weekend, ill or no. Gotta work on sketching the other few ideas I've got, too.
Dammit, I'm babbling again. But the Docs desk has been quiet, and Betty's not back yet... *shrugs*
One last thing--we're getting a nice cat-condo thing (the sort built of wood and covered with carpet and sisal rope)--a big one about my height. We hope this will help keep Bebop a.entertained and b.from scratching that blasted wallpaper in the main floor hallway. Doubt it, tho. He'll probably play with it *and* everything else they already have *and* continue to destroy everything he possibly can. -_- He is such a...cat. Gah. *flails at Bebop* The 'B' is not for 'bad', idiotcat!
Hmmm, can't wait to get home and sleep. Yeah... *snores*
