*coughs* Er. Anyway. ^_^;

Why I love Buttlord GT:
http://www.atomictoy.org/comics/buttlordgt/buttlordgt.html
Snowflake: "You know what else is pretty fucking cool?"
Kevin: "No. Tell the Buttlord."
Snowflake: "That I'm gonna go all Mad Gearz on your ass."

XD XD

And why I love 8 Bit Theater:
http://www.nuklearpower.com/latest.php
Thief: "I'm glad you saw my side of it."
Black Mage: "You'd be surprised what a platoon of heartless ninja lawyers can do in favor of a position."

-and-

Thief: (re: Fighter) "And he'll be twice as valuable if he dies in the heat of battle. His insurance pays off double in case of death by heroic act."
Black Mage: "Hug."

XD The panel for that is so fricking cute! XD

-and-

Black Mage: "What did I ever do to deserve this as my fate? Other than all the sinning."

XD

And in other ponderings...still am very much of the 'quit playing games, just fscking get on with it already' mentality. But I'll let that be all I say on that (for once). But one last thing, while I was showering, the dj on the radio this am started ranting about the "If you're not with us, you're against us; if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" thing again...punched the radio before I realized what I was doing. >_<; But again, let's ponder this 'we have to all think/act the same way, we must be a uni-mind, there must be no dissent or different opionion' attitude once more...isn't that what it's like in the dictatorships we hate so much? Wasn't the reason why our country was founded was to have the *freedom* to have a different belief/opinion--isn't one of the principles our country was based on the ability for us all to have the freedom, the safety to express contrary opinions/thoughts/beliefs? Well?

Something that I have heard recently that is worth thinking on, is that it is one thing to espouse the concept of free speech. But unless you can take something that someone says/believes that *offends you to your very core* and respect that they can have that opinion and allow them to express that opinion, despite how you feel about it...unless you can do that, you do not truly understand the concept of free speech. Free speech is not only allowing people to express things you like or agree with. (And hence, this is why I do not write to the radio station demanding the dj who was ranting with major *hate* this am be removed or disciplined--he has a right to say what he feels. But I have a right to express my disagreement, a right to not *have* to believe like others unless I *choose* to. We all have that right...so, shouldn't it be "If you're not with us...you're with someone else, or with yourself"? Or something like that?)

*ponders* How different things were back in '91. How different were our attitudes, the way we treated others we wanted as allies, the way we conducted ourselves. How much more careful we were in our role as the only real world superpower--and how much less we took advantage of that and acted like a playground bully. How much more I believed in 'us' then.

Get on with it! *flails* Eh. Anyway, shutting up now.

Watched Bush address the union. Got hammered. My apathy levels are go!

And Black Mage is love. Or hatred. I forget which sometimes. =\

Heh. >D Am trying to work my way into apathy, as really it's more comfortable there. Truly nothing I do or say has any real impact on things or influences the govt. anyway...would be easier to not care that I can't control things than to get worked up and rant about the things I can't control.

But I can't seem to keep from that ranting bit. ^^;; Bad me. Mmmm, apathy is like a fuzzy blanket. >D

Heh. Perhaps he's both. Or he's a love of hatred. ^__^ I should try to turn that image of him doing the 'Hug.' thing into an icon.
Hey, you could do a "Dubya addresses the nation" drinking game! Tho in a way you kinda did, but still... ^^

I am master of apathy. I will share some with you for being a loyal subject...I guess. *waves magic fairy wand half-assedly* Woo. Yeah. Hurray. Blammo.

Now, I will move to New Zealand, where it's quiet. And I can watch my toilet flush backwards or chase weird animals around the countryside all day.

Ah, there's a thought: New Zealand, where the sheep outnumber the humans 6 to 1.

Hell, I love the bloody place. Even before they filmed that movie there. Friendly folks, favorable exchange rate, and a small rabbit problem...

I'm sure we all could find decent housing somewhere on the South island. Want to go?

XD Actually, that would make for an awesome con costume--I think you'd look good in all black with a briefcase or something. ^^ (Though when I originally read the comic where they first appeared, I thought it was like 'lawn-ninja'. *grins*)

*hugs* I hope you're not working yourself too hard! Man, I need to harass you those few times I actually do see you online. #^^# Gomen... Have missed talking to ya!

Dear gods, I think I could spend the rest of my life that way. :D Do you suppose that's why Steve Irwin chose that career? (I know, he's Australian, but close enough).

Oooh, the rare New Zeland Spotted Hanging Three-Fingered Box Monkey! w00t! *chases after it*

Oooooh, yes I would love to. New Zealand or Australia (though seriously, I have entertained thoughts of Canada, like in the Victoria/Vancouver areas of BC)--just the words 'South Island' are making me go all daydreamlike. Though I suppose I wouldn't be able to get a job like beach bum/ocean tester. *sighs*

I really, really do want to visit there someday. *nodsnods* And speaking of visiting, glad to see you're back ok! *extrahugs* I hope it was a blast, though I know it had to have been way too short of a trip. Hope you're settling back in to things ok.
