We had to go on with classes like normal, but I don't think anyone was really paying attention. But my parents being the sorts of people they were and are, they were glued to CNN for the whole evening, hell, for days. And I remember there was one science class (not the one I was in) that watched each and every launch, so they saw it live, and I can't imagine what they felt/thought/whatever, to not have any warning at all like the rest of us. Just like the people today, all those watching and waiting. God...
