What, only 62% humidity? LIES. It's freaking saturated out there. D: Ugh ugh ugh. Just bringing in groceries shouldn't result in ending up sweat-drenched. Gross. >p (Dear Nebraska: You suck. No love, me)

So yesterday when the techs were over doing the vent cleaning, we shut all the cats out on the enclosed porch, the one that's separated from the kitchen by a glass patio door. Cat 2 of 4, Missy, (the Maine Coon fuzzy-tubby bear of a diva princess cat) at one point decided she was going to make a break for it and run from the porch into the kitchen oh yeaaaaah. Remember the glass patio door? Yeah. *Bonk*. Good thing she's got a skull that's like granite (which is obvious when she decides she must nuzzle by ramming her head up under a person's nose).

Someday I will talk about something other than cats. Today is not that day.

Heeeeeeeeey. You live in Nebraska? I set my Big Bang in Nebraska! Although, everything I wrote is probably off since it's a town cleared out by demons and taken over by angels :) But hey, I've never known anyone in Nebraska!

Hey, cool. XD I'm in Omaha, on the very eastern border of it. Basically the most urban part of the state, which always threw people the short time I lived elsewhere, because yeah, obviously Nebraska = small towns, cows, and corn, right? ^^; Largest city in the state here, bigger than even our capital, so yeah, always had to convince people that I'd never lived on a farm or been near a cow. But yeah, other than about a year and a half, I've lived here since I was born, as has my mother and my grandparents on my mother's side. Conservative, landlocked, way too focused on college football, prone to tornadoes, but pretty decent in most regards.

I still do not understand how land-locked areas can get so humid. I feel your pain. The other day I stepped outside and felt like I was drowning. Just hot, sticky, yuckiness. I wish I could go to work in shorts. My jeans vacuum-locked my legs for freshness or something...I had to peel them off at the end of the day.

Blegh...

Exactly >_< I hate the way it feels like trying to breathe when it's so humid--honestly, we don't have gills, quit making us breathe water, weather! Yuck. And man, I hate that whole thing with jeans this time of year--nothing worse than how denim clings like that. Ugh, what it does to this much hair as like I have, too. At least I don't frizz, but man, it just gets heavy and clings, too. Man, we're not even to summer yet and it sucks. XD;
