A Happy Valentine's Day to all of you ♥ I've never understood why only one type of love is focused on for a day like this--it should be about all types of love. And to me, love of friends is one of the strongest and most enduring types.

For all the 'step back' of this past week, the last couple days have been little steps forward for my aunt. Her liver values are down, and her color's better, not tremoring. She mostly was sleeping when Mom and I were there yesterday, but did speak just a little bit--I heard that in the morning she was actually awake enough to speak normally, like sounding like herself and not drunk/stoned/slurred sounding, and ate a small amount of an egg-salad sandwich. It was only a few minutes, but still.

Not doing anything special for the day--the husband and I will pick some other day to have dinner out. Just will go up to the hospital for a bit with Mom, then decide whether to go over to my friend's place for the monthly movie night thing, or just send the husband to it (leaning toward just sending him; I'm really beat and not feeling up to being out, I think).

:) Well in Finland, Valentines Day is actually called Friend's day, so here it is actually a celebration of friendship and we remember our friends with cards and gifts.

So happy "friend's day" to you (although I'm little late now, but I drove all the yesterday so had no time to come and wish people happy valentine's day!) *hugs* :)

Thanks :) It's been nice to see some positive things after so long, even if they're just little things--and it certainly helps everyone visiting to be easier to get along with since we're not as stressed and worried.
