I would laugh except that I'm visiting Chicago this week and the same thing happened here with the Bulls game. But I managed to find a streaming link to watch Show, even though it dropped out a few times.

OMG THANK YOU \o/ I've got a download started, but it's only 1/3 done so far, so at least I can watch the streaming for the last 40 min, then go back and rewatch the whole thing when the dl's done. :) Yay, that helps. You're awesome! ♥

WGN, the CW out of Chicago, often interrupts the schedule of any show on Friday for sports, baseball in summer, and Bull's basketball in autumn/winter. They've twice now done it with SPN. It's showing here tomorrow night, but since I always tape it and watch it even up to a week later, I don't mind as long as I've read the schedule ahead of time to remember to set to record. :lol: I just watched CSI:NY as I always do.

Ohman, that would be annoying to have to deal with the preempting all the time. :x I guess it wouldn't surprise me to have it happen in an area with a professional team, heck even if it were college teams. I was just stunned that they did it for high school stuff...for our neighboring state. >_o Didn't help it caught me completely by surprise. Yeesh.

Least I know it can happen now :| And I've got the link bookmarked that someone shared with me where it's webstreamed, so I'm prepared for the next time.

I have to admit, I would understand more if it were a pro team, or even college. That it was high school, for the *neighboring state*. Yeah, so not amused. :p They'll not catch me off guard again though--I've so bookmarked the link where it can be viewed via webstreaming. :|

*grumble* Seriously, high school football. I didn't even care about high school football when I was in high school. :p (Though okay yes, I was a Nebraska Cornhusker fan back then...)

Yeah, I guess it happens a lot on Friday nights, for all sorts of televised sports. I've just not ever had it happen since I generally don't watch much TV and before SPN was always on Thursdays. At least now I know a link for webstreaming for when they preempt it again.
