OMG, I love this. So much better than what we're actually going to see, I'm sure. I know you were stressed out about this, but it turned out beautifully. The hug! The road trip! The food! Hon, you have no problem writing the sensory and the vivid, believe me. ;)

I love the explanation that Sam had to find his own way out of Hell, because him facing down his fear and walking into that redness was so *Sam*, and to have that be part of his salvation was even more perfect. And Dean quietly trusting that the electrical discharges were just a little side effect that would work themselves out, and then waiting for Sam to admit he wanted to hunt again. Oh, boys.
