Gorgeous, atmospheric, moody story that really resonates through the senses--and which is so like watching an episode, the characters' actions/words are so *right*. Man, I really wish I could see this done as an episode.

Let The Shadows Take Their Toll by
maerhys, PG-13, Sam/Dean, 662 words. I still adore this so, so, so much. It suits the mood and feel of the lyrics and music so well, the whole aching, painful beauty of it all. I just want to hold this story close to my heart, and hold it, and hold it.
