you rule my world brother, you rule my world compadre
The hormonemo melancholy is most strong today, yesterday as well. An almost nonfunctioning sort of gloom (spent a lot of time just staring yesterday, listening to the sound of the fan). Haven't logged into WoW for a couple days, feeling a bit burned and bored and still unhappy about a stupid argument that went on Wednesday. But bored of fic reading and of Food Network, too.
The music in my head the last couple days:
Elbow - Not A Job
Elbow - Leaders of the Free World
Radical Face - Welcome Home, Son
Jen Titus - O Death
Grasshopper Takeover - Omaha
...but, I think I feel like some Steven Wilson now. Insurgentes it is. God, that one and Twilight Coda off that album...if I I had the mental energy, I'd share. So beautiful.
Mom poked me to do an Amazon wishlist recently, and over half of it is music. But I don't want CDs if I can help it, my CD racks are just full already. But Amazon won't let people give mp3s as gifts--so I commented such on each item and noted gift cards would be swell. Though I know a lot of my family and friends don't like giving gift cards, which sucks because what I really want is the mp3s and the only way to get 'em as gifts is through general gift cards. Way to go, amz.
