in which not much is still the norm
Powdery couple inches of snow last night + high winds = woooooo absolute whiteout time! Nice, nice, I say. Driving home from work was so much fun. Skipping allergy shot until tomorrowish is a go.
Not much up of late. Did the belated New Years movie thing at Don's, so finally saw Batman: Dark Knight. Dayam. Enjoying the post-Holiday lack of things to do. Work is the same, mood is a bit more ok. Breaking all of my resolutions but continuing to try to work on 'em. And Wowowowowing a lot, per usual. That seems to be the only part of my life where I accomplish things and meet goals--explains much why I keep playing it, no? Somewhere where if I try, I actually succeed? Le gasp. If only RL would work this way.
Totally spaced off the kerfluffle about our Russian overlords (Did I say overlords? I meant protectors :B Apologies, Mr. Coulton.) Though I did check in on my Insane Journal. Might spruce up the userpics, maybe find the Semagic thing for posting to multiple blogs. Seems like everyone's on Twitter, but I don't seem to be in the multiple postings a day pattern anymore. Maybe if I ever get back to that I'll try it. Seems like the bastard child of LJ and AIM, sorta.
Still snooping around for Bakurae related stuffs, though pickings are slim. Been reading a touch of the Yullen to be had in the DGM section, though this weekend had a sudden Roy craving (I miss pyro characters) and was catching up on some recent RoyEd stuff. Could use some more Roy-focused stuff. Nom.
I have this list of music I want to buy (last year's Eluveitie and the Killers, Battles, Elbow, Korpiklaani, and a few things that've been catching my ear on the radio), but I keep talking myself out of it. Really do need something new though.
Been feeling the want to write off and on--and to do something original, which is odd--but I just can't get ideas to spark or gel.
