dear summer: hi. now gtfo.

Ok, so 90 degrees out, that sucks as it is, right. But having it be 85 fuggin degrees in our offices today all damned day long *suuuuuucks aaaaassssss*. Lemme tell ya. In times such as those, even sitting in front of a fan does nothing (just like the goggles).

I wish they'd finish this stage of the construction and start turning on the damned air handlers/ac again soon. I thought it'd been uncomforably warm already. Oh ho ho. How ignorant I was. (Oh, but there's AC nights and weekends when the construction crews are gone, not super helpful to us M-F day folks. >( )

I once went completely batshit crazy after spending a week with no A/C at work. No, really. Batshit crazy. There was actual, genuine bloodshed. Er, not mine. Batshit crazy. Heat is not something you want to fuck around with, let me tell you!

*steps into a walkin freezer for an hour to give cool huggles*

Hope you get your AC back soon, hon!

Gah, I never got back to you to poke for the whole story. Inquiring (snoopy as heck) minds want to know! :D I go the opposite of crazy--ooze into this blobby, whiny, totally unproductive lump.

At least they're regulating the temps now, but it's either AC off, or AC on and we're sucking thick diesel exhaust, chemical fumes, and dust. Mom keeps bitching that we aren't given administrative leave, just using vacation or sick time when it's at its worst. Ah well, it's for a good cause. Or something. :D Yay renovation.
