For Katkat mainly--tho anyone who's curious is welcome to check 'em out. Such fun ♥
Quick impressions: Starting bloodelf area's pretty much what was at Blizzcon. Not too bad, though I signed on after the evening rush I think. But yeah, just as I thought I'd react, <3 for the male BE, even more--way more--<3 for the female draeni than I anticipated. Male bloodelves seem stockier than I recall, with more square jaws and prominent chins (very cleft). Bloodelf females are aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanorexic. Seriously so. Draeni females are OMGWTFPRETTYCUTE. Probably the best-looking and most proportionate female toons in the game. Didn't really check out the male draeni.
Music makes me wibble, muchly so. I kept noticing a strings feel to a certain piece, like almost cello-ish--gave it just a touch of a moody feel, which I really dug. But without being heavy/angsty. The scenery is just gorgeous. Once I got to a city area after the start zone, was going flaily at the inn. All dark blues and oh my gah, they've done gauzy, veily *curtains*. I've not seen that in a game graphic. Was just...lush feeling, for ruin areas. ♥!
Quite a few server disconnects, not surprisingly. Never lasted more than a minute, though. Had some pretty good lag after one server crash, but all in all it was pretty smooth.
I need to check out the starting Draeni area, since I only poked my head in long enough to check out my toon there. But still wanting to gnaw on the BE area more :x Nin and Sas should be copied over by tomorrow, but I imagine I won't check out Outlands with either of them 'til the weekend.
(Also: First thing I did when I signed in with a male BE toon was dance just as I said I would XD Yay, Napoleon Dynamite. Also, the flex emote *slays* me--does a bodybuilder-style arm flex, and kisses one bicep while posing I DIED OF LOL XD ♥ Oh, they're precious. And they still occasionally twirl when they jump X3 )
