Nifty little survey, different than the usual...
1. What was your very, very first tv show obsession?
The animated Dungeons & Dragons cartoon. :D I was *so* into Hank, it wasn't funny. And if I would have written the many, many extremely involved and detailed daydream-stories I had for that show, it would have been the ultimate-dear-gods-worst Mary Sue-author avatar crap known to fandomkind. Yeek. >_<;;
2. Who was your very first tv show/movie/book crush?

#><# Okay, fine!! John Schneider/Luke Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard. *flails* Gimme a break, I was all of 7/8! Ergh... ><;;;;;
3. If you write/draw/vid/etc, for what show was your very first fannish effort?
I didn't try writing anything of that nature until the past few years, but I remember drawing a me-Thundercats character for my eighth-grade art class. ^^;; I really liked Thundercats...I wanted to be a lynx. #^^#;;
4. In which fandom did you first discover the joy of other fan with similar obsession(s)?
Gundam Wing. :D
5. What fandom are you currently embarrassed to admit that you enjoy?
*scratches head* Hrm. I really have no problem admitting to any of my interests/obsessions. Though Weiss Kreuz kinda qualifies, as it's kinda a "guilty pleasure"--it's so danged bad, but it's so fun to watch! XD But I don't try to hide that fact... *shrugs, grins*
6. Which fandom would you, if you could, convert folks just so you'd have enough people to chat with/write fanfic for/read fanfic by?
Hm, a while ago that would have been Yami no Matsuei--there were so few decent authors working with it, and certainly none of my favorite people. That has changed recently, tho, now that Kea and Nix and Jenn are working on different things. :D :D :D Life is good. *hee*
7. If you could have a writer of your choice write a pairing/fandom of your choice who and what would it be?
*wicked grins* Gotta love what the above trio can do with Hisoka, Hijiri and Tsuzuki (or just Kea and Jenn with Hisoka and Tsuzuki works, too :) ). :D :D I'm also eagerly awaiting Nix's work with Hijiri and Watari. *bounces around* Lessee, I wouldn't mind some Aya/Ken (*glances meaningfully at Nix*) either. ^.^
I really, really do want to find some good K and Hiiro fics, and those still really aren't out there. There was one fic so far with that pair, but it wasn't stellar. I'm not sure who would be best to write those characters. (And now that I think about it, I'd like some *good* Ryuichi/Tatsuha fics...I think it could work, but what's out there is kinda bleh at the moment).
I also want muchly to see more Touya/Yuki (with maybe some Touya/Yue or Yue/Touya added in #^^#)...not sure if I'd want that just from Kea, or whether I should dive in and work on that with her like I'm temped to. Ooh, and same with Seishirou and Subaru. :D
Hm, what else, what else--wouldn't mind seeing some decent Saitoh/Sanosuke stuff, but not sure by whom. Ooh, more Heero/Duo or Trowa/Quatre stuff from Kea and Jenn! Yeah! :D
8. What story/series do you want to see more of?
Right now I'm most hooked on the CLAMP fics Genesis, Two of Pentacles, Atropos, Alpha and Omega (if they haven't screwed it up permanently), and a currently untitled one about Hokuto (of TB). There's also the YnM fic Live Through that just left off in a VERY Bad Spot, and if bad things happen to Tsuzuki I will be Mightily Offended. >< Naturally more parts won't appear for that one soon. I'm also waiting for more Lupine (a RK fic) and more Upon a Painted Ocean (WK). And this is besides all of Nix's, Kea's, and Jenn's current projects. Have I babbled about them enough? No? Yes? ^.^ Gomen. #^^# And there's probably a scad of other stuff I'm hoping continues, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
9. What kink/genre/pairing will you read anything in, regardless of quality or fandom?
Hmmm...I don't think I read *everything* anymore. I used to do that with 1x2/2x1 in GW, and it just wasted my time or ended up getting me burned by things that disturbed/squicked me too greatly. I mean, crap ain't worth it, just to get a particular pairing/fandom. That's why I tend to whine so much about there being no good fics in my favorite fandoms--I want to read stuff, but won't make do with the lousy stuff currently out there. ^
