No surprise...

The blanket won last night. :p Grabbed some cocoa, tried to read some, but fell asleep under said blanket until the usual 'wake up in time for bed' time. :p Part of me says I must need it, sleeping so much (when I then sleep solidly all night and wake up tired in the morning)--but I hate doing it. I hate wasting time, I hate not getting things done, I hate not doing any of the hobbies I enjoy, I hate missing socialization time with the people I care for.

And then I wonder *why* I need the sleep--why when others I know are up until 2am almost every night (and get up at an earlyish time) and seem to suffer no ill effect, why when what I normally get for sleep *should* be enough. I mean, I'm not getting sick or something, am I? I shouldn't be--I'm eating ok, I'm taking immune-system-boosting type vitamins every day, I'm taking care of my allergies with meds and whatnot every day. But if I'm not getting sick, why am I sleeping so damned much? Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me. And I get pissed because it seems like the only time I ever get anything done is the weekends, when I end up cramming what I have to do and what I want to do in (but then naturally it's not enough time, so things of both types sit--see my still unpacked living room, see my guitar, etc...).

But anyway... *shrugs* Allegedly we're in a winter storm warning today. Supposed to get up to 8 inches of snow, but we'll see if that happens. We've gotten almost no precipitation this winter--very under normal. So I wouldn't mind the snow, since we need some source of water--and it wouldn't hurt to get a snow day, maybe. But hopefully it holds off on the worst (if we really get anything to speak of) until late--Anj's got to pick up Katherine from the airport this evening, so it'd be nice if she could drive them both safely from Eppley to Bellevue, then get home ok. Getting a light snow already, I guess, but remains to be seen if it accumulates. ...and I hope this doesn't become something that smacks the east areas yet again--seems like everyone out there has gotten more than their fair share this season.

What else, what else...*shrugs* :p Nothing much more actually worth saying, nothing new that is. *ponders* I wonder what I'd have to do to get folks to come visit Omaha sometime...when it's not crap weather conditions, that is. Hmf.
